Marbella Arena, the epicenter of sports with the arrival of two international events in October

The Marbella Championship, from October 4 to 6, and the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) on October 12, stand out in Marbella’s sports calendar.

Marbella Arena, the venue located in the former bullring of Puerto Banús, is set to become the epicenter of sports in Marbella with the arrival of two internationally significant events in October. Both the Marbella Championship of Crossfit and the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the fastest-growing global combat sports organization, are key highlights in Marbella’s sports calendar, with the Marbella Arena hosting these prestigious events.

Marbella Championship, the pinnacle of Crossfit

From October 4 to 6, athletes from around the world will gather at the Marbella Championship, the most comprehensive official Crossfit competition in Europe. Marbella Arena will serve as the main stage where competitors will showcase their skills in this sport, which continues to gain followers due to its diversity and physical demands.
This is a Hybrid Fitness competition with both team and individual formats. In the final competition, there will be nine categories for individual athletes: Elite, RX, Intermediate, Intermediate Masters, Masters 35-40, Masters 41-47, Masters +48, Scaled, and Adaptive. There are also four categories for teams: Elite Team, RX Team, Intermediate Team, and Scaled Team. BKFC-67, night of champions and music in Marbella

On October 12, the spotlight shifts to the thrilling night of BKFC-67, marking Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s first venture into Spain. With three world titles on the line, BKFC-67 combines the intensity of bare-knuckle combat with an impressive musical lineup, courtesy of Conor McGregor’s record label, Greenback Records. International artists such as Xzibit, Kodak Black, Dizzee Rascal, Better Only, Ferreck Down, and Eskimo Supreme will elevate the atmosphere with a variety of performances, guaranteeing an unforgettable show.

The fight card is headlined by the matchup between Franco Tenaglia and Tony “Loco” Soto for the BKFC Lightweight World Title. Austin “No Doubt” Trout will defend his Welterweight title against Rico “Bon Bon” Franco, while “Redneck” David Mundell faces Danny “The Bastard” Christie for the Middleweight title. Each bout is a showcase of the fighters’ skill and bravery.

The BKFC Championship will take place on October 12 at Marbella Arena.

Complete Fight Card

The event is further enriched with a full fight card, featuring fighters such as Dan Chapman, who will make his BKFC debut against Yevhen Kraminskyi, and Hannah Rankin, who will face BKFC newcomer Sahel Bayat. Other notable fights include James “Lights Out” Lilley vs. Felipe “Praguinha” Maia, and Spanish lightweights Fran Suárez and David Mora, both making their BKFC debuts.

In the Middleweight division, Yunus Batan will face Abner “Skullman” Lloveras, while light heavyweights Arbi Chakaev and José “Chicho” Medina will square off in their debuts.

Professional boxer from Marbella, Navid Mansuri, will make his BKFC debut against Edye “La Sombra” Ruiz, and in the Bantamweight division, Nico Gaffe, also from Marbella, will take on Radek “Mahusvi” Stadler, ensuring a night of memorable bouts.
